Multiple configurations give maximum flexibility Assay/ sample configurations for SmartChip MyDesign chips offer many options for effective platform utilization. New assays can be tested with a configuration for many assays against few samples. As your work progresses, a different configuration can be used to run the select assays of your final panel against the many samples in the study design. For genotyping and gene expression, 14 sample/ assay configurations are available (see left) for efficient utilization of the 5,184 nanowells. Explore our simplified workflow Now, you can add your qPCR assays to your samples and run them in a high-throughput, nanoliter-scale real-time PCR system, all in the convenience of your own lab. Follow the simplified workflow (see left) to complete a run of 5184 qPCR reactions in approximately 3h, with less than 45min of hands-on time. In 1 day a single SmartChip System can easily achieve a throughput of more than 20,000 reactions. Whether in discovery or production environments, formats can be determined by you for maximum efficiency and cost savings.
Reproducibility for both Genotyping and Gene Expression Analysis An example of the remarkably consistent results obtained with the SmartChip system are shown for both genotyping and gene expression analyses. Here, five independent SmartChip Real-time PCR Systems were tested in parallel. Whether the data were analyzed individually for a system or collectively across all systems, the genotype calls (A) and gene expression Ct values (B) were consistent. Inter-site or intra-site studies can utilize SmartChip Real-Time PCR Systems to compare results allowing easier collaborations for multi-site research.
